International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB)
The IRRDB, established in 1960 following the merger of the International Rubber Regulation Committee and the International Research Board, is a global platform with participation from 23 member countries across six continents, dedicated to fostering collaborations among the natural rubber producing countries. The organization facilitates research, innovation and policy dialogue aimed at addressing challenges and advancing the development of Natural Rubber sector worldwide. Its key activities include the annual International Rubber Conference and high level governance meetings of Directors and Chief Executives of Rubber Research Institutions worldwide. Nigeria is a member of the International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB), with RRIN serving as the statutory representative of the country on the Board.
